What an RFID or NFC wristband does
A custom RFID wristband looks like a standard silicone band, but it hides a contactless chip in a slightly wider head. Tapped on a reader, it can open doors and lockers, check a guest into a zone, or link to a cashless wallet at a festival. NFC versions can also be tapped on a smartphone to open a website, a digital business card or a social profile.
Gyms, resorts, water parks and staff accommodation in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh and Doha use them for access and lockers, and organisers use them for entry and payments at large events and conferences and exhibitions. Companies also issue them to employees during onboarding where turnstiles or smart lockers are used.
Chips, encoding and branding
The chip type must match your access or payment system, so we confirm the frequency and chip model with your technical team before production. Bands can be supplied blank for your system to encode, or pre-encoded with an NFC link.

Will it work with our existing access system?
It will if the chip matches your readers. Share your system’s frequency and card type, or send a current access card, and we will match the chip. Test samples are recommended before the full order so your IT or security team can confirm.
Can the NFC chip open our website when tapped?
Yes. NFC bands can be encoded with a URL, so tapping a smartphone on the band opens your website, a landing page or a digital business card. The link can be fixed or set up so that you can change the destination later.
Is it waterproof?
Yes. The chip is sealed inside the silicone, so the band can be worn in pools, showers and gyms. That is why it is widely used for resort lockers, swimming facilities and water parks across the Gulf.
