Why a recycled PET umbrella is useful in the Gulf
A recycled PET umbrella works as a sunshade on hot walks between car parks and offices for most of the year, and as a rain umbrella on the few wet winter days, so it earns its place in a car or by the door. The 23 inch stick umbrella opens with one button, has eight panels and a curved handle for hanging on an arm or chair. The canopy is pongee fabric woven from recycled PET. The canopy gives shade, but it is not a certified UV-protective fabric, so we describe it simply as a sun and rain umbrella.
Printing on the panels
A one or two colour screen print on one panel covers about 250 x 150 mm and is the standard choice; printing on two or four panels gives visibility from every side. For full-colour artwork or a pattern across the canopy, full-colour digital print can cover whole panels on larger orders. White logos on dark canopies read clearly. Arabic and English text both work, and a free digital mock-up shows the panel layout first.

Frequently asked questions
Is the canopy UV protective?
The canopy blocks direct sun and makes walking outdoors more comfortable, but it is not a certified UV-protective fabric. If a UV-coated canopy is important, ask us and we will confirm which versions are available and how they are labelled.
How many panels can be printed?
One panel is standard, and two, four or all eight panels can be printed for more visibility. Each extra panel adds a print position, which is priced in your quote and shown on the mock-up.
Is it windproof?
The fibreglass ribs flex in wind rather than snapping, which helps in gusty conditions. It is a standard-size umbrella, though, not a storm umbrella, so very strong winds can still turn it inside out.
