Printing on performance polyester

Polyester needs low-temperature inks or transfers to avoid dye migration.

[Heat transfer printing](/branding/heat-transfer): thin and flexible, good for full-colour logos and sponsor grids up to about 250 x 300 mm.
Screen printing: very economical for 3 colours or fewer on large runs.
Back print with the event name, date and sponsor logos is common.

Frequently asked questions

How should we split sizes for a public event?

A common split for mixed adult events is roughly 10% S, 30% M, 30% L, 20% XL and 10% 2XL and above. For family runs add XS and kids' sizes. Ordering a few spares in M and L covers late registrations.

Can we print many sponsor logos?

Yes. Heat transfer prints full-colour sponsor grids on the back in one pass, so many logos do not multiply the cost the way extra screen colours would. We arrange logos by sponsor tier on the mock-up.

What is the minimum order?

The typical minimum for event running shirts is about 100 pieces, as they are priced for volume. Smaller quantities are possible at a higher price per piece. The exact minimum is confirmed in your quote.
