A crafted keepsake with lasting value
Mother-of-pearl inlay is a traditional Levantine and Arabian craft in which small pieces of shell are set by hand into wood to form star and arabesque patterns. A box of this kind is valued as a keepsake and is often kept on a dressing table, desk or majlis shelf for years. This box measures about 25 x 17 x 9 cm, with inlay across the lid and sides, a velvet-lined interior and a hinged lid with a small clasp.

Discreet branding
The inlaid surface stays untouched. Your logo, the recipient's name or a short dedication is applied with laser engraving on a small brass plate inside the lid or on the base, in an area of about 50 x 20 mm. Arabic and English text both engrave well, and each box can be personalised.
Ordering and delivery
Each box is hand-inlaid, so small variations in pattern and shell colour are part of its character, and lead times are longer than for printed items. Frequently asked questions
Is the inlay real mother-of-pearl?
Yes. The inlay uses natural mother-of-pearl shell set by hand into the wood, which gives each box its iridescent finish. Lower-cost boxes with resin imitation inlay are also available; we label both clearly in your quote.
Can we place a gift inside?
Yes. The box is often used to present jewellery, a watch, perfume oil or a small jar of oud. The inner lining can be fitted with an insert for the item, priced in your quote.
Where does our logo go?
On a small engraved brass plate inside the lid or on the base, so the inlaid pattern stays untouched. The plate can carry your logo with the recipient's name or a short dedication.
