A cactus leather notebook for sustainability-minded gifting
A cactus leather notebook gives the feel of a premium leather journal with a plant-based cover instead of animal hide. It is a good fit for companies in the UAE and Saudi Arabia that report on sustainability, as well as for vegan and eco-conscious recipients who would not use a cowhide gift.
- Plant-based leather cover derived from cactus, bonded to a textile backing
- 96 sheets of recycled lined paper
- Elastic closure, ribbon marker and back pocket
- Matte, slightly textured surface in natural, earthy tones that suit a desk
It sits in our leather notebooks and organisers range, and fits naturally beside other low-impact items in the leather and executive gifts section.
How the logo looks on plant-based leather
Debossing is the most natural choice: it presses the logo into the surface with no ink, which keeps the look clean. Laser engraving gives a darker line and works well on sand and sage colours. Avoid large solid foil areas on this material, as fine debossed lines show the texture best.
Packaging and ordering
We recommend kraft or recycled board boxes, with a small card explaining the material in Arabic and English. It suits client appreciation gifts, women's day and green-themed events. Colours can be mixed. MOQ and lead time are shown on this page and confirmed when you request a quote.
Frequently asked questions
Is cactus leather fully plant-based?
The surface layer is made mainly from cactus fibre, bonded to a textile backing with a binder. It is not 100 percent plant material, so we describe it as plant-based leather rather than biodegradable. We share the supplier's material details with your quote.
Does it feel like real leather?
It has a soft, slightly textured surface that feels close to fine-grain leather, with a matte finish. It is a little lighter and more even in tone than cowhide. A sample is the best way to check the feel before ordering.
Which branding method do you recommend?
Debossing suits this material best because it uses no ink and keeps the cover natural. Laser engraving is a good second choice for detailed logos. We send a digital mock-up so you can compare both.
